Photographer Giorgos Moutafis of Greece origin, working for German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, was stopped by police authorities on the grounds that “his name is on the list” during passport control in the airport, when he intended to go to Libya from Istanbul for taking photos.
In his Twitter account, Moutafis stated that he was questioned after it was declared “his entry into the country prohibited” and that he was kept in the airport all night. In this context;

3. How many hours was Giorgos Moutafis kept in the airport?
4. Is the period of detainment legal in accordance with provisions of “Law on Foreigners and International Protection” (Law No. 6458)?
5. What are details of the aforementioned list? How many journalists are on the list?
6. How many people are on the list?
7. Why has the list been compiled? What are the criteria for inclusion on the list? Which institution compiled the list?
8. Is it true that journalists of Turkish origin, that are on the list, are not allowed to leave the country?
